What it is
Handcrafted missions where planets are trapped or frozen in the field. Place pieces so the lines around a planet fill up and burn away, and the planet flies home. It is a block puzzle with a rescue story attached: every mission has a planet to save and a set number of pieces to do it with. Planet Rescue is also a YouTube Playable, where all forty missions play free.
Planet Rescue is one of the 5 games in Solar Puzzles, space puzzles for young astronauts. The demo plays the first levels here; the whole game, with the Space Museum, is in the app.

How to play

Find the trapped planet
Each mission shows a planet stuck in the grid, sometimes frozen under a layer of ice that takes two clears.

Clear the lines around it
Place the pieces so the rows and columns holding the planet fill up and burn away.
3
Watch it fly home
Free the planet before the pieces run out and the mission is done. The next one is a little trickier.
